What Fair Enough is

Fair Enough is a lighthearted tool that uses AI to suggest how to settle small, everyday disagreements between two people who generally get along. It is not legal advice, financial advice, therapy, real arbitration, or any kind of binding decision. Every resolution is a suggestion, not a ruling — both people are free to ignore it entirely.

Who this is for

Fair Enough is meant for small, low-stakes disputes — chores, splitting a bill, what to watch. It is not appropriate for anything involving real legal disputes, significant sums of money, safety, harassment, or abuse. We run an automated check on submissions and will decline to mediate anything that looks like it falls into those categories.

You should be old enough, under the law of where you live, to agree to terms like these. If you're using this with someone else, you're each responsible for what you personally submit.

No accounts, and what that means for access

Fair Enough doesn't use passwords or accounts. Instead, each person gets a private link tied to a random access code. Anyone who has your link can act as you in that case — so don't share your own link with anyone, only the invite link meant for the other person. We're not responsible for actions taken by anyone who obtains your link, however that happened.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Fair Enough for anything illegal, or to harass, threaten, or endanger another person.
• Try to bypass rate limits, the bot check, or the content screening, or otherwise interfere with the service.
• Impersonate someone else, or use it to misrepresent a dispute that isn't genuinely between the two of you.
• Scrape, resell, or build a competing service from Fair Enough's output at scale.

We can remove access to a case, or block further use, if we reasonably believe these terms are being violated.

No warranty

Fair Enough is provided "as is." The AI's suggestions may be wrong, incomplete, tone-deaf, or just not to your taste — it's a lighthearted tool, not an expert. We make no promise that any resolution will be accurate, fair by your own standards, or available without interruption.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Fair Enough and whoever operates it aren't liable for any outcome, decision, or consequence that results from using this service or following (or not following) a suggested resolution. You use it, and act on it, at your own discretion.

Your content

You keep whatever rights you have in what you write. By submitting it, you're giving us permission to process it as described in the Privacy Policy — to run the mediation, screen it for safety, and (only if you or the other party chooses to) generate an anonymized public verdict page. See that page for how long content is kept and how to delete it.

Changes

We may update these terms or the service itself over time. If a change is significant, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Fair Enough after a change means you accept the updated terms.
